Près du village maternel
de Roche (Ardennes), la gare de Voncq vit le 22 mai 1891, Rimbaud,
souffrant terriblement et déjà amputé d'une
jambe, partir en compagnie d'Isabelle pour son dernier voyage
vers l'hôpital de Marseille.
On May 22nd 1891, Rimbaud, his leg amputated and suffering terribly, left his mother's village of Roche for the train station at Voncq. His sister Isabelle accompanied him during his last trip to the hospital in Marseilles.
